This morning I go back to the dining room for breakfast feeling good. One of the ladies comes to me to say goodbye she said goodbye to me last week. She speaks so positively about moving away.

This time it gets me she is not moving away and does not understand that. OK, I get it, but it hurts so now with my blood pressure high I am in tears for this person who is a wonderful person but slightly confused. She is my neighbor in the Bible Matthew 22:39 says, Love your neighbor as yourself. If it was me my hope would be that someone would get me help how about an advocate?

It is hard to understand with all the discoveries that America cannot figure out how to handle senior citizens with integrity. That is the same person that was 30, 60, and now they are slower, grayer but if you take the time to listen, they still have something to offer, and it is not playing games. Some feel that seniors are a burden no it is that we have taken so much time trying to get to the moon and more that we forgot to plan for old age. Job 12:12 says Wisdom belongs to the aged and understanding to the old.
